LiveBinders is an online storage site that allows users to upload documents, pictures, websites, etc. for future use. The site acts as a digital USB drive in the sense that users can access and download their materials from any place that has internet access. Never again do you have to worry about forgetting your flash drive at home because here you can always access it! LiveBinders also allows multiple users to edit the same LiveBinder, so you can share your resources with friends and they can contribute to the same binder as well.
How to use it in your classroom: This site works great as a way for students to create a digital portfolio of all of their work throughout the year. Teachers, no more stacks of papers to take home with you!
Students can also work in groups to use LiveBinders to create online projects. See the instructions for the Advanced Placement LiveBinder project created by Rebecca Hurst.
